Our Country's Current State of Being

Our country is in one heck of a mess. With a 700 billion dollar bailout on the border of hitting the country (ignoring the fact that it was rejected). I'm worried about the political candidates we have today, with with election weeks away they can't afford to make "slips". I have no faith in our current leader and will not be in agreement if there is a republican successor.
